Your dog does not see the colours that you see.
Having only 2 types of cones within the eye causes dogs to not be able to detect the same colour range the we humans do. Due to having 3 types of cones in the human eye we see variations of red, blue, yellow and greens etc. Our dogs see variants of yellow and blue only.
